Hello Miller Families,
This is Mrs. Yarbrough with this week’s important announcements.
We are very fortunate to receive an additional supply of COVID rapid tests. These will be distributed to Miller families. Each family can receive as many boxes as they have children enrolled at Miller School. It will be a DRIVE-THRU distribution tomorrow Monday, April 11 at arrival and dismissal times. Arrival distribution is from 7:45 to 8:10am and dismissal distribution is from 1:20 to 2:45pm. Once again, this will be tomorrow, Monday, April 11. If neither of those times will work for you, please call our office and make other arrangements. Please know that these kits cannot go home with students, but must be given to a family member who is 18 years of age or older.
PTA is proud to announce that next Wednesday, April 20 is the date of our Miller PTA Family Event the “Miller Mix and Mingle.” This is event will be held from 4:00-6:30 here on campus and will include food, music and games. This is a free event with no tickets to purchase for entry.
And finally, please know that our District Office will be moving to their temporary location as of Monday, April 25. They will be housed at the Walter Knott Education Center located at 7300 La Palma Avenue. During the final days of transition to the new location, district business will necessarily be conducted by telephone and email. Thanks for your understanding.
